School Athletics Day (all day)
We have our school athletics day on Monday 19 October at Athletic Park. We will have some practices next week. We aim to do sprint training at Liardet Park on Tuesday afternoon and then rotations of vortex, quoits and high-jump on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. If you are able to volunteer and help on athletics day, can you please let me know and I'll check in with Kylie to see how much further parental assistance we may need. Your help is much appreciated! There’ll be further updates about athletics day next week.
Parent Information Evening: Adolescent Program for 2027
All parents are welcome to join us for refreshments and to discuss the Y5 to Y8 programs for 2027. In early 2027, we are excited to add Nikolai Gurda to our teaching team. Nikolai is a Montessori-trained teacher from the US with 16 years AMI experience.

Ngā whetū o te pō / Celebration of Matariki
Join us in the Library Hub courtyard for karakia and waiata. Then take a walk with us to explore our Matariki displays. Enjoy sausages, hot chocolate, face painting, and star gazing along the way! Bring a koha and a mug for a hot chocolate and cookie. BFC will be running a sausage sizzle for $2 each. We look forward to seeing you there.
Mihi Whakatau
Our Mihi Whakatau is Berhampore School's special welcoming of new whanau and involves a traditional powhiri welcome. This will include waiata and speeches from various staff members, followed by a morning tea in the staffroom.
